Silent Hill planning!

At first, I thought, no, Kamina won't have a Beast. Kamina is Good Guy Extraordinaire, Kamina wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn't hide anything!
...except.
Except Kamina hides anything that he thinks makes him look like less of a man. Anything that makes him look like less of a leader. He's terrified of disappointing everyone, he's terrified of death for nothing, he's terrified of being a failure.
So. What would that fear look like?
Imagine Lagann. Simon rides in the cockpit which is under the brain-hood. This is Simon piloting Lagann.
Now imagine a Lagann that is an actual face. Flesh and bone twisted with the metal frame. A large, pulsating brain, with Simon embedded in it from the waist down. Just a wretched, torn, starved Simon, reaching out with long, bony fingers as Lagann drags itself across the stony cavern floor.
Simon is Kamina's Reason for a lot of things. He's tough for his bro, worries about being strong for him. What better to personify his fear, especially the fear of letting him down, of letting anyone down? And imagine the Giger-esque melding of bone and metal, gaps in the flesh that covers it. Moans of agony and grinding metal from Lagann's gaping mouth, missing a tongue. Cries of "aniki" from Simon's throat. Just the slow, inevitable oncoming tragedy that is disappointment and failure and awful things happening for no reason at all.
